Prernaa Arora In Deep Trouble, Now An Arrest Warrant Against Her Mother!
While Prernaa Arora is facing a tough time getting a bail, now in a new turn of events, an arrest warrant against her mother has been issued
The producer of movies like PadMan and Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, Prernaa Arora has been behind bars since over a week now. There has been no relief whatsoever for the young woman who is said to be involved in fraudery amounting to crores of rupees. The last update that we ran stated that the hearing will be on Saturday (15th of Dec), but there has been no update from the court yet which means she’s still in prison.
Now, in a latest turn of events, a report in DNA After Hrs states that arrest warrants against her mother Protima Arora and Vikrant Singh, an associate at her company, KriArj Entertainment have been issued. Mrs Arora and Vikrant, will be produced before the Metropolitan Magistrate, 44th Court, Andheri Mumbai, at the earliest.
A quick recap on what exactly transpired. So, Prernaa was arrested on Saturday (8th of Dec) and the very moment, she burst into tears, as she hugged her father. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) arrested her for alleged involvement in monetary fraud cases that amount to crores of rupees.
Speaking of the controversies that she been embroiled in, she had a major fallout with Vashu Bhagnani, a fight with Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor due to non-payment of dues, a huge spat with John Abraham’s JA Entertainment and last we heard, a company called Padma Ispat accused her of a huge monetary fraud. Infact, she was also said to be in possession of several passports and PAN cards.
